There are many advantages of these phones. The pay as you go phones and contract phones come in the form of deals with most-selling phones such as the Nokia mobile phones. Let's first discuss the advantages of pay as you go (PAYG) phones. These phones can also be called as prepaid mobile phones. They allow the mobile users to enjoy mobile connectivity by using a wireless phone without signing a long term mobile phone contract. The users need not to worry about the monthly bills, where they pay for only that money which they use as call charges. These phones help the users to save their money. These phones are mainly used by the students, housewives and people who want to curb their mobile bills. People using these kinds of phones need not to worry about how long they have spoken on the phone. The long-term mobile phone plans (contract phone plans) would be expensive in eyes of many users but these phones are now available at nominal rates. These are the most popular and hassle-free phones but PAYG phones still rule. The PAYG users have to pay in advance for the minutes they want to use and they won't receive a bill at the end of the month. This procedure is very simple and easy. With these phones, the users need to recharge the talktime amount by purchasing prepaid cards or by making online talktime recharges. These prepaid cards come with all the recharging instructions enclosed. The charged money is deducted from the prepaid credit. Pay as you go phones come with the Nokia mobile phones. Some of these phones service providers include T-Mobile, Cingular, Vodafone, Orange, TracFone and many more. Nokia mobile phones are offered as pay as you go to the mobile clients. The users have many choices including flip phones, camera phones and much more. Another kinds of phones are the contract phones. These phones are wonderful ways to deal with your hefty mobile phone bills. There are many advantages of these phones. The users can easily find their choice of a mobile phone with the contract phones. These phones allow the users to sign an agreement for a specific term like 12 to 18 months. The users need to sign the contract with the service provider/retailer. The users are required to pay the a fix amount of money through a monthly bill payment. Most of these phones offer free talktime, SMS, gifts, insurance, accessories and cashback. These mobile phones usually, give some free text and voice messages. The users can experience latest Nokia mobile phones, which come with plenty of technological features such as GPRS, 3G, EDGE, Bluetooth, HTML, WAP, video calling and Wi-Fi. Some great Nokia Mobile Phones like the Nokia N96, Nokia N85, Nokia E90 Communicator and many more are in offering with these phone deals. The users can also enjoy all the facilities, which come with the Nokia handsets, by using these handsets. The Nokia handsets are embedded with a high quality camera, by which the users can capture the best moments of their life. This widget supports music player, stereo FM Radio, visual radio, MP3 and polyphonic ringtones, stereo headset, Nokia music manager, voice commands, voice recorder, voice dialling, handsfree speaker and vibration alert features. It also allow the users to experience Emails with attachments, picture messaging, instant messaging, SMS distribution list and predictive text options. The various network providers that facilitate these phones are T-mobile, O2, Virgin and Vodafone to name a few. The users have many choice to subscribe to any of these network service providers. Therefore, Pay as you go phones and contract phones can be easily termed as the best deals.

This past winter was our youngest daughter's 14th birthday. We had promised her a cell phone only when she was old enough, we agreed upon 14 years old when she was 11. Her sisters only got theirs last summer, and they are a few years older. With all of these cell phones in the house, we decided to consolidate our bills to a phone share plan to conquer our ever growing phone bills. We had all of the kids help in researching a good cell phone plan for our family's wants and needs. It turned into a great project that we, and the kids, worked on for about a week. I highly suggest other parents too get their kids involved in the process. It not only brought our family together, but it also helped the kids understand the price of having a phone and what limitations they would have. All their choice, well it was really a group decision.

Since we were already a customer with Telus, and liked their no nonsense billing process, we decided to stay with them. Telus family share plans start with a plan for two. Two can share all unlimited calling between them as well as included minutes, texts, messaging etc, for $35.00/month. Of course the price rises with extra members, so this is what we found. Right now there is a Telus offer available for a 1, 2, or 3 year agreement where the first month is free.

With access for up to 5 family members, we would receive unlimited mobile to mobile calling between all family members. Unlimited weekend, voice mail, call waiting and we get a free phone for every family member. That was exciting for the kids. The share plan members are all under the same account, and must reside within the same province. Depending whether you choose a 1, 2, or 3 year plan agreement, there are bonus minutes added to the plan. A warning though, an additional 10 cent charge will be added to any text or attachment sent outside of Canada. All five members must be Canadian domestic numbers and does not include your own Telus mobile #, or toll free numbers. Local talk and text does not include roaming, or long distance charges. This includes picture and video messaging as well, but our kids won't have that much access on their phones anyway. We can change the five numbers on the plan after any billing cycle, but this wasn't applicable for us either.

There are, like with any other plan, extra costs and charges. This is where we spent a lot of time. There are extra charges for additional local minutes, directory assistance, 911 emergency access charges, and long distance and roaming charges. There is also the system access fee and a one time account set-up charge. We all sat down and agreed on the limitations, signed a contract with each other for individual cell phone responsibility, and chose the Share 40 Plan.

The kids can share and trade unused minutes with each other, and have unlimited incoming minutes. The price is $40.00 a month for our 5 family members. A great deal as far as we're concerned. I don't even want to mention how much we were previously paying.

I highly suggest all parents get their children involved in the information on billing and charges for cell phones. It has really helped our family in cutting down on any future arguments, and the kids feel a real sense of maturity.

So we was just going to switch it over to my boyfriends old metropcs phone but I don't want a flip phone, I want a newer phone.
So I was wondering if all prepaid phones have sim cards because metropcs can't unlock phones that have sim cards because that's just not how their system works.
So is there any prepaid cell phone without a sim card? If so, can you tell me which ones or service brands?

How many of us have had a phone that is no longer owned by us and has ended up becoming a refurbished phone? – Well in 2008 alone there was over 40 million refurbished phones sold, including refurbished iphones, and this market is opening up to refurbished Smartphone’s and Blackberry’s also. So how do phones become refurbished and who benefits from it? If the original owner is you then this will be music to your ears, trade or sell your old cell phone to a refurbished phone business, like cashforiphones.com, and you get cash in your pocket - meaning you can the go onto to use that quick, easy money to purchase a brand new phone you never thought you would afford at a reasonable price and at the same time you have done the environment a big favor also by saving another phone from becoming electronic waste. Therefore the first to benefit from refurbished phones is you, then the environment and followed next in line by the new owner of your old phone once it has been refurbished. If these reasons alone aren´t enough to hop straight off to www.cashforiphones.com then the knowledge of knowing that when you arrive on the site you can see immediately you are dealing with a professional, friendly and dedicated team who strive to get your money to you as quickly as possible in appreciation for your effort to assist in the above mentioned line of beneficiaries will be enough to convince you. There is no longer any need to get by with your broken iphone, your Blackberry with the cracked screen, or the Smartphone that is not so smart anymore – the process is simple and straightforward, simply visit the site, get your accurate quote within 30 seconds have a packaging box rushed to you with insurance and shipping all prepaid to save you any expense whatsoever, then send your old phone to become one of the 40 million a year to become a refurbished phone and wait for your check to arrive in the next few days. Also bear in mind that to become a refurbished phone it doesn´t have to be broken or unusable – if you don´t get along with your phone, you don´t enjoy the features and benefits from it anymore, or it has become more of a problem to make a simple call with your iphone that wants to be a computer, you can send these in too, it´s a great way of enabling a upgrade when you wouldn´t otherwise e able to get one. So whether you have an old iphone, a broken Blackberry or a perfectly usable cell phone remember this option and remember the good you can be doing in the chain by selling or trading it to become one of the many refurbished phones to a company, no better than cashforiphones.com.
